I haven’t touched the fic. I am kind of proud of myself but it is calling to me like a freaking siren and I am trying to not listen. I reread it anyway and discovered that the finger cramps seriously impeded my ability to type words that I meant to type.

Also, sometimes, my sentences get weird late at night or when I am typing for speed rather than coherency.
Today was a lot of working on design for manufacturability. I got it sent off though to Mike’s capable hands and it shall be totally out of my domain tomorrow, which is nice and awesome.

I also finished Searching for Dragons during Dusty’s econ class. I started up Dead Until Dark again. Which I like a lot, and I don’t want to kill our hero chick thingy. Weird right?

Anyway, Dusty is still nuts about Adam Lambert. I am kind of still mostly apathetic, but I understand the appeal. It doesn’t help that his music sneaks up on me in the dark and gets stuck in my head to the point that only repeated blasts of Disturbed will rescue me.

He is very Sparkly though. Like… srsly. Also, now have For Your Entertainment stuck in my head. Looks like it is time for some more INDESTRUCTABLE.

**sigh** got my homework done, finally. I have no tests this week, which is nice. But i do have to make Dusty's present... >.> 12 CDs...

Hey there!
So I am a bit late. I wrote an entry for... mid-July but I never posted it. It details my trip to Houston for Jennifer's wedding. I'll put it up later I guess.
I have just kinda decided something cool to do for Nanowrimo. Rewrite a fairy tale, or perhaps multiple fairytales. And take the Grimm approach to them, cut off toes and all. What inspired this you ask? I reply with "Bearskin" KHM101. Go read it if you are not familiar with it. I think it is quite good and an intersting tale.
I guess I'll talk about my classes.

ME301- Thermodynamics. Kinda gross but it's at 10 MWF so it's not so bad. I just have problems wrapping my brain around some things. But i think it could be much worse. My first class of the day with Truman.

ECON105- Macroeconomics- Good god this class is boring. I mean... i has the potential to be interesting and during the first week of school it was alright because the notes were written on the board. Now they aren't. They are on slides, available online, in paragraph form. I have decided that class is for reading and studying other things. It is working pretty well so far.

ME317- Fluid Mechanics- My second class with Truman of the day. It's interesting. it's going to suck but i think i will learn alot. I have a lab for this class as well. My first lab report is due Wednesday. I am like... 40% done. I will be done tomorrow, early. 

All my MWF classes have online homework. It's kinda awesome but kinda sucky. Instant feedback is always nice. but i don't like that i have homework everyday. And WileyPlus is MastingPhysics retarded little sibling that can't handle rounding without dying. CourseCompass for Econ however... well i love that program. It tells you the right answer if you miss it, you still get full credit and then, it praises you. Awesome much?

MATH314- Linear Algebra- Another dull class to start my TR days. thus far i know everything we have done. makes for easy homework but i have to rewrite my homework because he keeps changing what is due when. Which sucks. But right now we are doing basic Matrix Algebra and a bit of syntax work. But i read and do sudoku during class until we get to a higher chapter.

CE302- Mechanics of Materials- Matthews is awesome. And I like Mechanics. It's like statics on drugs. So long as the final does not repeat itself i think i will enjoy the class. It is in the new Engineering Building, which is amazing by the way. Very pretty building with a nice lecture hall, neat study lounge and very spacy classrooms.

So that is my schedule... uh... My life?
I just finished Battle Royale, the Novel. I really liked it.  I am not sure if i will like the manga (which i found online) or the movie (which starts the actor who plays Light in the Death Note movies, which makes me giggle). But i made intense spreadsheets. you want to know anything random (x kills y with z) i so have it for you. I think i need a new background to reflect this new obsession or whatever. Maybe later.

Ugh so I caught up again. Sorry everyone. I had to do it and I was going insane. I spent… 6 hours studying physics today. I may die tomorrow but I will be happy. There was lots of talking and many other things. I also discovered that I will graduate college at the age of 21.
The Black Tattoo is an awesome book. The cover was pretty but… man that book was great. It was 500 pages but it was brilliant. It was inpiring. It made me write… just not about A.N.G.E.L.S. but man it was good.
I also went to the Calc recitation. That was way odd but things… clicked. It was neat! Then there was food and Law and Order… which is bad. Very bad… and addictive but bad.
I wish I had more to talk about but I don’t. I just want to finish up and sleep.
Oh I did write NaNoWriMo… only 47.5 thousand more words!

Oh Wednesday! Great news all around. I know when all my tests are until the end of the year. My Statics Final has been moved up a week so I get to take it the Friday before finals. Which is awesome as this means that I do not have to take it on the same day as my physics final!
I also read a lot of The Black Tattoo. I have like 300 pages left and planning on going to bed after reading another 100. Good BOOK!

I barely started The Black Tattoo today. I got like 50 pages in before I realized that I have homework I need to do. Which is a problem. So I did homework. But we started working on a box today in my lab. It will be super neat. I am sleepy….. which is odd since I slept in until like 11 today… well more like stared at my ceiling for a few hours… it was wonderful.

Finished Wolfcry and took a statics exam. That book took forever considering that it was 200 pages long. I think it was because my view of lycanthropy and wolves is very different than AAR. So it was odd because the character I believed to be truest in form was the one that the main character didn’t like… it was very strange.
Statics exam was wonderful… no maybe not. But afterward was great. Fernando and I tried out this neat tech that they had that reacts. Like you shoot a gun and it recoils. It was awesome.

Crap. I have to read 2 books this week and one of them is 500 pages long. I also have to finish Wolfcry. I bet I can do it, just you all watch. But unfortunately I also have two tests. I spent a few hours today studying. Statics test tomorrow and then a physics test on Friday. Ugh all around. I just want to relax but I doubt that is happening. Me and NaNoWriMo are not going at 100%... which kinda sucks but I bet I will write the most on weekends anyway. During the week I get distracted by thigns and it just… doesn’t happen. Especially as A.N.G.E.L.S. has a complex plot that is a not plot. A series of stories that are connected into an overlying arc. Big project requiring many note cards and string. Way scary.
But I sold Manga today. 12… and made 40 bucks doing it… I am thinking about selling another 15… which is a lot… which is scary… (I did buy two books though Hawksong and Midnight Predator)

Stress and Snakes

OMG So today is way way to stressful. It started out well but, then everything went downhill after that. Linds was staying at home alone while my parents visited my grandma in the hospital and someone tried to force the door open when she was home alone. WAY scary. I wanted to go home right away. She’s okay and no one got in but… god way freaky.
In happier news, it is NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month. I have 900 ish words… I am supposed to have 50,000 by the end of the month. That is way intense. I don’t know if I can do it but I am willing to try in random and halfhearted bursts.
Snakecharm was good… I love Zane so it was neat reading from his point of view. I have started Falcondance and will probably finish it tomorrow morning because reading the 100 pages I have left in the time I plan on being awake is not a good idea at all. So I will wake up at 8 and read until I leave for class at 9:40.

Finished Hawksong and spent an hour with the study group doing Mastering Physics. Also freaked Chris out because I actually spoke loudly when I saw Dusty today. Apparently I am way quiet. But I read today and I love Amelia Atwater-Rhodes… I also ended up back on the page for Rosh Penin again… Because Sarah introduced me to the wonder that is Enchanted. I know where I will be on that Wednesday. At the movies, gawking at singing and dancing. But the six degrees of Wikipedia was… creepy as hell.
I also have installed Firefox. I like it… it has a fox.

Lost Bullet

Finished Traces: Lost Bullet today. Weird book. I kinda like it. It is set in a parallel reality in London (what is with underage british super kids). The main character is a CSI guy with a robot sidekick. Very odd story but… unique view of a similar but different world. Kinda Giver-esque as it had pair bonding arranged by the government and cards for everything you do. Very creepy good. Glad I have like 3 of them.
I also brought all of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes books and have started Hawksong. There are actually like 5 books in the series but the library, as usual, is a bit behind on the new releases. There are four books to be read… oh deary… I actually have 6 books due thrusday. I hope to be able to return at least 4…. We shall see.

The weirdest thing has happened. I went to Borders and I didn’t buy anything… weird. So I went to the library to compensate and walked out with 10 books. I have no impulse control and I really need to read the books I checked out in August.

CALC and AMST

Today I had my Calc test. That wasn’t fun but I think I did… satisfactory. I am not sure but we get our tests back on either Wednesday or Friday. We shall see. Today I also turned in my ME homework, got totally lost in physics and got confused in statics. It was sooo not fun. But I did find out that I got a 23/25 on my AMST paper, loosing points to a lack of thesis and… something else but I don’t really care. I went back to my room, finished my physics homework due Wednesday and then thought about doing statics or calc but decided to do my AMST paper instead and spent a good… several hours attempting to make that work. I finally finished at like ten minutes ago. Since I don’t have class until tomorrow until 2 tomorrow, I am going to read one of my books. I haven’t been reading as much as usual, and it is making me depressed. I think I am going to read Doppelganger. Anyways… survive the week and then I get to go home and read my mangas… course I have to live through lab tomorrow… ugh…

I watched Bones today. I was also very lazy. I did read and finish my first book since Sunday. Allison, Who Went Away. I saw where it was going pretty early but it was a good story. I will clean up the LJ book list… soonish… maybe… I am lazy so we will see when I get around to it…

Early all over

 Oh TGIF! I am sooo worn out for this week. It seemed to be impossibly long. Totally sucked. I finished Operation Red Jericho today. It was pretty good… written for like a 16 year old so a bit of an easy read. It had neat pictures and the book was set up like a journal, even with an elastic thing to hold it shut. It had maps! The funnier part was of course my beloved study groups reaction to my 4th book of the week, earning me mocking and teasing. We got out of two classes early today. My calc class was over 15 minutes early and my statics class was over 20 minutes early. So what did we do? Geeked out and watched KH videos and Super Smash Brothers clips… we are geeks, I am so ashamed… no I’m not I love them to pieces.
Sarah called me this morning which was awesome.
Then I went home, went to borders, bought two Getbackers and read them before finally opening my SDK that I haven’t read yet and have been pining over for like…. 2 weeks. I am crushed. One of my fave characters expired…

Sigh I think I need something to do. But nothing I want to do makes sense… I watched more House today. I read some manga. I think I want to catch up on Getbackers. I don’t know why but it seems like a good manga to catch up on. It will be one of the longest. Oh and SDK beat Fushigi Yugi for my longest series at 24 volumes to Fushigi Yugi’s 23. time to be lazy.
I also returned On Fire’s Wings. Luna publications sucks apparently. Another book that I got 50 pages in and saw no reason to continue. Maybe I just haven’t found the right book but it was exceedingly disappointing.
