A month and a half later and I am now 5/8 of the way through my undergraduate degree, have had to make emergency plans for next semester, wrote 50000 thousand words, cried in public, changed, evolved and did something I never thought was possible. And went to church. Surprising? Hell yeah.

Okay… I finished Nanowrimo. Did my 50000 words. Had a neat spreadsheet too. I actually finished early this year. But I finished. And haven’t touched it since.

I also read Twilight. Also surprising. Totally met my expectations: Shallow, mutilation of the vampire mythos, ruining the expectations of preteen fangirls who think abusive control freak boyfriends are attractive. And then I saw the movie… AND IT WAS AWESOME!... okay the awesomeness revolved around how the actors seemed to know exactly how creepy the original characters were. And Jasper made me giggle with his seemingly constant mantra of “food… food… food over there… food over here… food… food… OMG THE FOOD IS TOUCHING ME WHAT DO I DO?”

I also got back into good old Final Fantasy XII. I played a ton of Final Fantasy XII: RW… yeah… that was dumb as I played instead of studying on occasion but **shrugs** I enjoyed it. I am still playing because I am sadly like 8 levels below a boss and I have fought everything to level up so now it is pointlessly fighting repeatedly until I win. Not fun but I learn something new every time. But I also restarted Final Fantasy XII. I am like 1/3 of the way through the plot. Which means I am like 1/15 of the way through everything… I also got Ninja Storm. Holy lord I love that game. Need to get 100% completion though… need.

School wise…

Thermodynamics: So that test in October, I got a 69, with the average at 65ish. My final test in thermo I totally screwed up. Like… we are talking 48 kind of score. It was bad. Very bad. But I took the final. And I got the high of the four of us who took it. And I got an 82 (which beat my highest score by a lot!) and so he gave me a B. He said he would give me a B- if I got a 70 and a B if I got a 86. So apparently I stunned him and he gave me a B. Like I was so excited! There was shouting and I almost swore very badly in front of my parents.

Econ: A+. Pretty good considering I did nothing in that class. Except read books. And do homework for other classes.

Fluid Mechanics: So I got the average on the second test but on the last test I got a 92! I put it on the fridge I was so proud of it. And I have never put anything on the fridge. I ended up not taking the final and getting a B in the class, which I am very proud of.

Linear Algebra: Got an A. But oh lord my Final. So it was on Tuesday, and it snowed like 3 inches the night before. So they had a two hour delay. We got an email saying that it was cancelled. So Dan, Fernando and I ran off and played in the snow. Then we got an email saying that the final had been moved to three. After THREE emails saying it was cancelled. We were hella pissed.

Mechanics of Materials: I got a B+… and after that final I was like OH THANK GOD! Because that final made me go “oh shit” a few times. It was upsetting.

Other than that I am all registered for next semester, but ME314 might be cancelled because UNM isn’t giving anyone money. Which sucks a lot because it screws some of us over. So… emergency plans have been made. Hope they will not be put into effect.

Other parts of life:

The last month and a half has been incredibly stressful. To the point where I acted like a girl and cried. And was horribly depressed. And felt trapped, tied down, alone and hysterical. Hopefully that will clear up because… while I will survive it, I am not sure if I want to do that again.

Other than that, I have read many books. I am stumbling through Brisingr right now. And all I care about it Morzan, who has sadly been dead for nearly 17 years story wise. So … I am craving a dead character who is mentioned about once every 100 pages. Pathetic I know but... can’t help it.

But that is my life, what I have been doing. How everything is going. How I have recovered from the worst semester so far in college, that nearly crippled me.
 

And so, in a cliché look to the future, I hope everyone (including myself) has a Merry Christmas. I will probably post an entry at midnight repeating that… and one tomorrow. But Merry Christmas Everyone. And to all your families as well. Enjoy it.

Happy Halloween
I fucking hate thermo and i had a... bad day. Or something. Bad enough where seeing Orion Rising was enough to get me crying. But i had good time at the party, enough to forget. It was fun. And there was candy and fake blood. And... stuff.
Other than that... uh... started to watch High School Musical. And then i... No really nothing happened today except... crushing and panic attacks and... being cheery when i forgot that i was a failure.
Uh... three points extra credit in econ to attempt to cancel out the thermo exam. But no one walked out of the exam happy so i think that might be a good thing. I got more done than most on the exam but i might have done it wrong which makes me sad. But... i think i did it right.. or at least partially right.

I had my first guest lecture today. And it was done by my next door neighbor, which was awesome, though it did make me feel very old as his oldest is not a freshman in highschool. Which is scary. But it was a very neat lecture about composite materials and applications. Space, support and protection (from explosions). It was an awesome lecture. And my first guest lecture!
found a glitch in Wiley today and went to talk to truman about it which was way scary. I Don't like talking to professors all that much. But i did it.
Finished Altair's chronicles today. It was a short game and kinda frustrating at times. Assassin's creed never really got frustrating. But...>.> this game and it's traps. At least the enemies were easy.
Did alot of homework today, which is never yay. I don't think i will ever get PV diagrams. just so yah know. Or TV diagrams. Hopefully one day the light will turn on and i will be like "oh. okay" but i am not waiting with baited breath.

Happy Birthday DFRPG. I swear i shall do something... dissidia shaped when i get around to it. Since we don't know anything about the game, i will make it up as i go. Interaction between heroes = win!
So today sucked about as much as i guessed it would. Got up for my freakin mechanics review and walked across campus in the dark. Which was not fun, just so you know. And then i sat through the review. i think i know how to do everying on the exam but we shall see. Then i spent an hour and a half doing my Linear Algebra. Then went to thermo. no pop quiz but hwk, naturally. Hour break during which i did my linear algebra some more. Thne Fluids. No pop quiz but i have hwk, naturally. Then Fernando (who is diseased) and I studied in Cent. for our exam. We got through alot. I just hope we both remember it tomorrow. Then i just spent all afternoon doing my Fluids Lab. I almost forgot to eat...>.> Bad plan all things considered. Only two more days.

there was a pop quiz in Thermo today. **groan** i don't think i did well... Procedure wise i did it right, i just can't do math correctly. Next week is gunna suck. Three days and two tests? Freaking awful. Plus i have homework and Linear Algebra is screwing it all up by having homework that isn't one of my hardcore classes and is not one of my test classes. Curse you Linear, Curse you.
But other than that i got to read manga today! Pretty new cover image and A Happy Birthday Shout Out.

So it begins again. But tonight there were many exciting things.
Dusty got into a car accident and i have had my freakout. i paced. I don't like pacing. And i imagine the people beneath me do not like me pacing either but it is how i deal with Car Accidents. It was a two car wreck. Person ran the red light. Collision. And i can't really think about it to hard without wanting to cry and flashing back to my oh so favorite lecture about whiplash. So i am moving on...
Fernando called to tell me his fluds score. A 59%... I am freaked out now. Because i made stupid freakin' errors like he did and if i did bad on this exam on top of my thermo exam the urge to drop out and become a business major will rise from .5% to 3%. Which is a bad rise all things considered. Truman assigned Thermo Homwork. Three WP and Three PS. The PS is actually last weeks WP but the ones that are all squeaky and needed percision readings.
Watched Ironman tonight. I love it! I love Tony Stark. Need Graphics! NEED NOW! Don't know what i will do with them but... i will have them and that counts for something. I love Tony Stark and my awkward crush on Robert Downey Jr. is...still awkward but it has come back full force. Seriously the guy has enough charm to make crabby old people happy. And hsi delivery of Tony Starkism behaviour was dead on. And Tony Stark is my favorite movie rick play boy genius crime fighter. He is upfront, outs himself, builds his own stuff and can still charm women's clothes off. Bruce Wayne al la comic fame is better than the new updated shiny version, mostly because the comic book wasn't so god damn emo. And the comic book was into criminology and building his own crap rather than using Wayne Enterprises R&D. Comic book Batman = way more yay than movie Batman.
This week sucks. Got assigned alot of Thermo hwk due Wednesday so need to get on that. Finishing my Linear Homework tomorrow with the guys tomorrow. And i am like 99% sure i have lab this week, which sucks major. I need to head to bed, eventually. I also need to back up my computer when i go home on Wednesday... Whoops. >.> Especially since i downloaded like 30 episodes over the weekend......

Today started off so dull that the exciting moment of the day nearly crushed my soul. Linear was boring. We didn't get our test back so i worked on my Thermodynamics homework (PS) which was to redo the test we took last friday. Once i figured out what to do (with a helpful prod from Jason) I was very much **headdesk** GAH NYSSA YOU IDIOT! kinda thing going on which makes me really sad. We will see how i do on the real exam. He sent us an Email about it. The average was a 43, with the high being a 67. So we all get a 23pt curve. not that it will save me much huh? Well we will see. I feel pretty good about one of my answers. We shall see tomorrow i guess.
CE? Don't remember what happened. I was helping Fernando with his Fluids Lab (And thus, learned how to do mine). I also figured out one of the Fluids WP problems. Then i was set free. During my break i finished my thermo PS and then i started to work on the Fluids Lab write up. i kinda went overboard but i don't think they minded too much. They both did the hard part so i just sat there and entered new shiny equations. 
then came teh exciting part of my day. I couldn't find my wallet. Lost! GONE! i freaked. Very subtly but i totally freaked. So i dashed back to my dorm (in the almost total darkness) and prayed to god that it was in my dorm room. Lucky for me it was next to my TV but i was freaked out. I did a round trip from Escape to dorm to escape in 20 minutes, which is virtually unheard of. Then we finished up our lab report (mostly, Need to get Theory and Conclusion to compile and print but that will happen sunday). and then i came back to dorm room. And haven't moved since. I have eaten like 1/2 a chocolate bar though. Lord Chocolate!
I finished my Fluids WP and then I did my Econ Homework (100% bitches!) and then Tidah showed me a site of fonts. Cue download of like 23 new fonts. Seriously i was like WTF. I tried to resist the other homework, chosing instead to do... anything else. Clean my room, arrange things. Failed and did my mechanics homework. As of right now without guess about thermo and fluids (because i sense WP), my only homework is Linear Algebra and that isn't due til Tuesday... SCORE!
I have to go present shopping for Daddy this weekend.... Oh deary. I have no idea what to get him. I should probably ask Linds. I am going home and playing video games. And the i am reading many books because i still ahve 20 checked out. lol. And three of them are due on Saturday. I doubt i will get all of them read but if i can get like 2 of them read or even just one, that means that next week, i have fewer books to read.

Back to the crying. My thermo exam was awful. i am for sure taking the final in that class. I can't even really think about it without wanting to cry, so i am not thinking about it, damnit. After my exam i cleaned my dorm room to make myself feel better, which was a very good plan, although i forgot that i actually have a twin extra long so it was hard to deal with the fact that my frame is smaller than the bed it is on. Which sucks by the way but i did it, with minimal crying.
Econ was actually the pick me up of the day, as sad as that sounds. Econ was my last class of the day as well as i did not have Fluids today. But half the class didn't show up to Econ so the remaining half of the class got two points extra credit. Which is way awesome. Tyler and I looked at each other and were like "you know what, those two little points probably saved my life". I also finished Bunker 10 which was sad and made me want to cry, mostly because everyone died. Dying isn't cool, especially when they are kids. but it was good. finally figured out the timeline.
Then i went home. Well i took the long way home. Costco with daddy and then i went home and DLed my fix and then i went to borders with Linds, for the first time since i think the beginning of september. i got two manga, both of which i have been waiting for. Samurai Deeper Kyo and I are edging closer and closer to the manga i bought in Japan. I bouth 31 and 32. 30 just released. And i was super lucky cuz 31 and 32 feature fights involving my favorite charactes, ones that (from my interpretation of the images) almost kill both of them. Course this is SDK and someone almost dies like... once a manga. It's a tradition but this time, it is Hotaru and Akira and they are fight Yuan and Tokito... **smiles brightly** i love SDK.
I also watched Life. I like my quirky detectives. Also it never fails to amuse that Damian Lewis (the guy who plays Crews) is also the Guy who plays Yassen in Stormbreaker. I find it funny... specially since i have never seen him act with his british accent and have thus far seen him with a Russian accent and an American Accent. It's funny.

Oh thank god for Friday. And next week. So i have figured out a bit too much about my upcoming life. You shall see it. Today i went to Thermo and got the answers to the pop quiz on wednesday. I am pretty sure i aced it now. I don't have the numbers but the answers were closer to the ones i remember getting. Plus i kept sigfigs like none other. So i hope that means i have a 100% to cancel out my like 52% fromt the first quiz. Went back to my dorm, edured the beeping and looked over my economics notes for the test. Took Econ test (first of 20, done!) and it wasn't too bad. We shall see. I think i did well. Found out when my fluids exam is (monday after next) and that i have no class on upcoming friday (9/26). Which means i will probably not have fluids homework to go with my thermo exam.

Went to the fair today with mom and dad just for an hour or two. Pet some puppies, played with the chickens and looked at the art exhibits. I also bought 7 posters.... 2 Final Fantasy VII, 2 Final Fantasy XII (and Versus), 1 Final Fantasy Crisis Core, 1 Kingdom Hearts and One N:S... Damn need wall space. TGF dormroom huh? Got some wooden roses as well. Super pretty.

Watched Dexter Season Two! I love Dexter! Alot! I think it is the internal monolog... feels like Fight Club a bit... which i should read sometime...>.>
