WHERE THE HELL IS MY SAMURAI DEEPER KYO OH BORDERS AND BARNES AND NOBLE! **has been epically let down by book stores**

I still have like $50 in Borders gift cards. I bet you all thought they would be gone by now huh? Haha i surprise myself too.

Uh... Linds and I ran wild today and i filled up some more gig space on my old harddrive. Sorry Baby i love you. But Linds and I had a good time. She goes back to school on Monday so she is kinda depressed about that but we played today and giggled for a long time. 

I have watched Lost. Which was way neat. It hooked me back. Which was surprising. Lost and I have a love hate relationship of epic proportions. Mostly hate as it makes me snarl since it just... I never want to sit down to watch it but when i do i get like totally and utterly drawn in ot the point that i am obsessed and i am analyzing possibilities of the monster. Yeah, i go there.

I also watched Pathfinder. Or half of it. I am hard to revolt (looks awkwardly over at Sin City and the like) but... guh it was... There were eyes and brains and mushy bits. And it would have been really awesome if i could watch it. It was filmed in a neat style but... ew much. Holly and I curled up and eventually gave up.

Linds has been playing GH3 alot, which is okay because i finished Prince of Persia. it was beautiful and amazing and i should really start back up on Crisis Core but... **sighs** Zack Zack.... But Prince of persia was very very pretty and my only complaint about it (if it really is one) is that it was a bit... easy. There was very little struggle. it was mostly me going "fall off the damn cliff yeh bastard" and stuff like that but... i only got frustrated about stupid things. it was kinda ike Assassins Creed in that regard. easy, but fun. And a bit short. Kinda makes me want to play it multiple times. So i think i will....>.> Maybe later though. Especially since they have trophies for it... **claps**

Read today. and wrote some. Go me!

Back to the crying. My thermo exam was awful. i am for sure taking the final in that class. I can't even really think about it without wanting to cry, so i am not thinking about it, damnit. After my exam i cleaned my dorm room to make myself feel better, which was a very good plan, although i forgot that i actually have a twin extra long so it was hard to deal with the fact that my frame is smaller than the bed it is on. Which sucks by the way but i did it, with minimal crying.
Econ was actually the pick me up of the day, as sad as that sounds. Econ was my last class of the day as well as i did not have Fluids today. But half the class didn't show up to Econ so the remaining half of the class got two points extra credit. Which is way awesome. Tyler and I looked at each other and were like "you know what, those two little points probably saved my life". I also finished Bunker 10 which was sad and made me want to cry, mostly because everyone died. Dying isn't cool, especially when they are kids. but it was good. finally figured out the timeline.
Then i went home. Well i took the long way home. Costco with daddy and then i went home and DLed my fix and then i went to borders with Linds, for the first time since i think the beginning of september. i got two manga, both of which i have been waiting for. Samurai Deeper Kyo and I are edging closer and closer to the manga i bought in Japan. I bouth 31 and 32. 30 just released. And i was super lucky cuz 31 and 32 feature fights involving my favorite charactes, ones that (from my interpretation of the images) almost kill both of them. Course this is SDK and someone almost dies like... once a manga. It's a tradition but this time, it is Hotaru and Akira and they are fight Yuan and Tokito... **smiles brightly** i love SDK.
I also watched Life. I like my quirky detectives. Also it never fails to amuse that Damian Lewis (the guy who plays Crews) is also the Guy who plays Yassen in Stormbreaker. I find it funny... specially since i have never seen him act with his british accent and have thus far seen him with a Russian accent and an American Accent. It's funny.

Early all over

 Oh TGIF! I am sooo worn out for this week. It seemed to be impossibly long. Totally sucked. I finished Operation Red Jericho today. It was pretty good… written for like a 16 year old so a bit of an easy read. It had neat pictures and the book was set up like a journal, even with an elastic thing to hold it shut. It had maps! The funnier part was of course my beloved study groups reaction to my 4th book of the week, earning me mocking and teasing. We got out of two classes early today. My calc class was over 15 minutes early and my statics class was over 20 minutes early. So what did we do? Geeked out and watched KH videos and Super Smash Brothers clips… we are geeks, I am so ashamed… no I’m not I love them to pieces.
Sarah called me this morning which was awesome.
Then I went home, went to borders, bought two Getbackers and read them before finally opening my SDK that I haven’t read yet and have been pining over for like…. 2 weeks. I am crushed. One of my fave characters expired…

This week is gunna suck

Back in the dorm. I have a calc test friday and this week I get to somehow cut the inside of my piece out. We are not enthused but are slightly excited.
Haven’t read SDK. I decided to save it as a reward for myself. I also read an actual book today, specifically Exposure. It was pretty good. Very creepifying. I liked it a lot. Made me slightly paranoid and things.
I think I want this week to go by quickly. I have a feeling it will drag very slowly by.

Yay SDK!

So… In continuing with what was mentioned in my muiltiple post scripts yesterday. I have many things to say. My word goal thing for the month of June is 10,000 words. It actually isn’t that much, less than 20 pages. I plan on starting it today anyways so really I should bump it up to 12,000 words… lets do that.
Today I catalogued my mangas. I have 132 series, spanning from single volumes to over 22. Ready for the scary part. I have 482 mangas….
My love for Samurai Deeper Kyo(22 out of 38) is renewed. It is still one of the best stories I have ever read. The only problem is I am very upset with Tokyopop and their slowness in translating. I know I could probably find it on the internet but nothing beats having the actual book you know? Anyway, SDK at this rate will be completely published after I’ve already been out of college for a year (sometime in 2012). If Tokyopop had continued with its original publication schedule, the series would have been completed in 2009. But noooo Tokyopop had to clog up their company with Kim Possible, who is not asian based at all. They also have placed too much in the creation of American Mangas. I know you are “Leading the Manga Revolution” Tokyopop but the speed at which your going, and the amount of American stuff that is being incorporated, is hindering that process. I mean really, send them over to another company, hell create your own. Stop taking away from your loyal consumers (like me) who have been with you since you were still publishing Sailor Moon with Mixx.
I also didn’t realize how many… unique mangas I have. I mean not like one of a kind but certainly less frequently seen in collections. I have the original publications of the first 8 volumes of Fushigi Yugi. I have June Mangas from when the company was still DMP. I have Under the Glass Moon and INVU. I have Flower of the Deep Sleep which Tokyopop stopped publishing and removed from their website after the second volume. I also have Bus Gamer which suffered a similar fate. I also have the original publication of Paradise Kiss. All I need really is to complete my collection of Banana Fish and I can make tons just off of that.
So one of my projects for the summer is to spiff up the boxes my mangas are currently in, as well as read some actual books.
Next part of yesterday’s thing was for me to do kinda a review thing. I have no idea how to work it but lets’ start with a review of Samurai Deeper Kyo:
Overall: Awesome… 100 out of 10.
In my mind, this is one of the best series. Course I am warped and twisted and I will pick gore and violence and neat one liners over a romantic plot any day.
The only problem with SDK (and many other mangas really) is that you have to be prepared for a lot of plot and characters. It spans 38 mangas after all. The good news is with Akimine Kamijyo’s style it is very easy to tell characters apart, from their clothes to their moves to their overall appearance. Each character also has their own way of communicating, making it easy to tell them apart. The plot is something that unfortunately does not get easier as the story progresses. The best thing is that while the overall plot becomes more and more complex, the basic premise is still the same. One guy wants to be the best, and he will do whatever it takes to be the best.
I’ve decided that I want to make my own mood theme… which means the obsession is going to kick in…
Anyways… that’s all I haves for today. We shall see how everything else works out.

so i haven't updated in two weeks... yeah i suck... lets see what has happened since then
I saw Mission impossible three, which was very cool- best line "i'll die if you don't kill me now"
I saw Ultraviolet- best line "it is on"
I started watching smallville... no lines yet
I get SDK vol 18 which is in istelf the coolest thing ever... best lines "That was for Mahiro", "what was i supposed to be watching out for again?" and "It was him"
I also got a free comic book on free comic book day... which was muy muy exciting.
I have gotten obsessed just a little bit with Robotech... which was my gateway anime. i have DVDs now...
nothing else has really happened except for lots of projects, one of which i am working on now to turn in tomorrow. It was my last day of senior year... and i really have nothing to say... we'll see how tomorrow goes...
I want to go play alice so i have to finish my math thing. laters

Hello people. Nothing much happening today. My first senior monday. I didn't shove anyone into a trash can so i think we are doing okay. Today is going to be a short post of me just well... being me and muttering to myself about things. Um i think i'm gunna grab a new Icon. He's Hotaru from Samurai Deeper Kyo, my anime/manga of the moment and he is evilly inclined... and he's fiery. Moving on. So i have spent over 300 dollars in recent weeks. 240 of which was Manga... the list is as follows: Rebirth volumes 11,12,13 and 14; Fruits Basket volumes 9,10 and 11; Blame volume 1;Van Von Hunter volume 1; Saiyuki Reload volume 1; Princess Ai volume 2; Alichino volume 2; Tarot Cafe volume 2; Cross volume 2; Faeries Landing volumes 8 and 9; Threads of Time volume 3; Model volumes 6 and 7; Desendents of Darkness volume 6; Hands Off volume 4; Getbackers volume 11; DNAngel volume 8 and Samurai Deeper Kyo Volume 15. Yeah i have no life and need a cheaper hobby. Too bad i can' think of one.

I think the posse needs a community. Why? well because it would be fun. And shiny.

Well thats all really because i am boring today. I've been writing alot recently and my muse is tired, hence the dull post. You guys really need to work on this "Read and Review" stuff. You kinda suck and the reviewing part... or maybe the lack of reading leads to the lack of reviewing. Go Read and review damnit. Lie if you have to.
