My piece wasn’t perfect! Much angsting about that. I also went to the library. I thought I was going to be there for like two hours. I was there for 6, until we were kicked out. It was kinda depressing but it was fun. I am apparently going to be force fed until I graduate from college. I finished Hellsing. I liked it! I am now very tired. I have been not sleeping for more than 6 hours a night all the time.

So I am back at school. Today I started the scary and terrifying experience of being on Mills. They are sooo freaky. I have no idea how this is going to work as the mills are bigger than I am and I have to stand on my toes to reach the higher up things. I am taller than the other two girls in my class though so I am not going to complain too much. I just have to make it through tomorrow. I spent forever in the library today with Fernando, helping him with his paper. I hope I was more of a help than a hindrance. I can never tell.

So Friday is said and done. It is just me and mom since everyone else is elsewheres. I am planning on spending the weekend doing nothing… at all… except study and watch crime dramas. I went to the library and borders today. I need to stop making this a habit but I just can’t seem to stop… Anyways I bought 4 manga, one of which is Wild Adapter. I was totally excited when I saw it!

The books I checked out from the library were

~~Dracula: The Graphic Novel~~ (Why?... because it called to me)

Stormbreaker: The Graphic Novel (Aw… kid is soo cute!)

Raven’s Gate by Anthony Horowitz (and my obsession continues. It looks interesting so I hope it is as good as he million other books)

Doppelganger by David Stahler Jr. (It had the word ‘doppleganger’ in the title and it was sorta horror novel-esque.)

Bloodline by Kate Cary (Another book I keep seeing at borders…. So I got it because I could)

Alison, Who When Away by Vivian Vande Velde (Once again VVV called and I obeyed)

What is my problem? I feel ill so I go to the library, by myself, where I know I have no impulse control? At least I returned two books (Grass for His Pillow books). I liked the books, but I didn’t love them… Anyway, I present the damage:

The Looking Glass Wars By Frank Beddor (My sister pointed it out a Borders a few weeks back. I thought it looked interesting and Alice in Wonderland and its many skewered versions have always interested me. I mean I played Alice during the last week of high school. Though I have never read the actual story… hums…)

~~Burning Bridges~~ by Laura Anne Gilman (… The cover was shiny, it’s a new book and the plot looks interesting from the teaser on the back.)

~~Now You See It…~~ by Vivian Vande Velde (I’ve gotten hooked on her books. I am trying to see if I can read them all before I go insane or get swamped down with homework… course the library might not have them all… that would suck…)

~~Never Trust a Dead Man~~ by Vivian Vande Velde (Another one picked up… I think I’ll read those two first)
~~Operation Red Jericho~~ by Joshua Mowll (I actually caught sight of the second book in the series first, but managed to find book one on the shelves. It looks neat, the book has a unique style at first glance and it looks like a journal…)

~~In Darkness, Death~~ by Dorothy and Thomas Hoobler (I love this series. It is set in Japan, involved mysteries and samurai and makes me happy all around. I’ve read the first two books in the series, The Ghost in the Tokaido Inn and The Demon in the Teahouse and loved them so new books. Yay!)

~~A Samurai Never Fears Death~~ by Dorothy and Thomas Hoobler (There were two… meeps)

~~Kamui Volume 3~~ published by Broccoli Books (I bought the first two books and I am not sure if wanna continue the series, as it will cost me about 50 bucks to catch up)

~~Kamui Volume 4~~ published by Broccoli Books (I only got 3 and 4 because they lacked volume 5)

For those of you who are wondering, I have 23 books checked out from the library.and I am adding to the list of ages until I return a whole set of books, which might be soonish actually.

…. So I went to Borders again today… But I also went to the library. I checked out many books, eleven actually:

~~Heir Apparent~~ by Vivian Vande Velde (I have never once in the eight times I have checked this book out, finished it)

Vampirates: Demons of the Ocean by Justin Somper (Keep picking it up at Borders, think it is a neat premise, buy a manga instead)

Hawksong by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (I love Atwater-Rhodes, so I gave in and checked out this whole set of her books. I want them all… I’ve read Hawksong but I don’t remember it too well.)

Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz (I Love Anthony Horowitz. He’s a brilliant and demented author for teenagers. I’ve read two out of three of one of his other series and I love his style. So I wanted to try the Alex Rider books before I bought them. {plus I would have to pick the styling I wanted.})

~~Wicked: the Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West~~ by Gregory Maguire (I have told myself many times I will sit down and read this book. Many times have I not. I will not walk away this time damn it)

~~The Death Collector~~ by Justin Richards (… Spur of the moment… it has a Dinosaur on the cover and the word “death” in the title. How can I say no?... I am such a boy.)

~~A Killing in the Comics~~ by Max Allen Collins (… Once again, shallow cover reasons. I read the back cover. It has a comic book cover. I… I am a tomboy with no control issues when I am in the library)

The Black Tattoo by Sam Enthoven (… another one of the borders things where I pick it up and go “Ooooh Neat” and then buy two mangas instead)
