Today we did the tourist thing. We went to the aquarium (a stingray tried to kill us) and then to old town. There was a homemade salsa festival with dancing and free water. It was awesome. I bought jelly bellies somewhere along the way and they were yummy! We went to The Palms and I bought these tiny little bear beads and I am going to do something with them. I just haven’t decided what yet. They are neat though.

We started up the rice cooker tonight, and I love rice and these neat seasoning things that Yuka brought with her. I will be eating much rice in my future. We also had steak and many other things. As things began to die down, I set to work on my project, which consisted of me copying things I had written on notebook paper into one of my 20 notebooks. I had over 30 pages of story just lying around. I finally finished just a tiny bit ago. But Yuka brought out her art and she started sketching. It was interesting because I had no idea what she was drawing. But at one point she showed us and she had drawn me, Linds and my grandfather. It was neat! Then we started playing the writing game since Linds says I write to light and then it devolved into Yuka trying to teach us how to write our names and us all laughing as we drew random and horrible things. I drew Linds. I drew for the first time in months. It felt awesome. Yuka kept trying to draw Linds but something kept going wrong so Linds was declared “injured”. It was a lot of fun. We talked about many things for like two hours and then finally surrendered to the call of the shower and tiredness.
