So I haven’t updated in like three weeks. I haven’t updated since school started. So this is a run down of all that has happened, school wise and a half hearted promise to try to keep a constant thing goin’.

I’ll just do a rundown of my classes and expand on it or whatever. I have no idea where this is going.

Calculus-

I love my teacher’s voice. Totally Eastern European and very soothing. Bad thing is my class is at 9 am on MWF, my first class of the day. Soothing means sleepy and sleepy=bad. Thus far it hasn’t been too hard but we all know that means doom is coming and the world will soon end. We have only been to recitation twice, and have gone through 2 TA’s. Both have/had accents. Thick ones. I’m just glad that math is a universal language.

Physics-

Physics is both the highlight and the depression of my MWF classes. I have it at 11 am, so after an hour of hanging out with Dusty, I am forced back to class. It is in a new hall, Regener. It however also cost me a good 100 bucks, which I am very upset about. I had to buy a Mastering Physics account and then I had to buy (another) clicker. But I like this one. It’s cute and blue. But I have homework, that I have to do. It’s kinda sucky but at the same time when I learn something I know it-know it. But the book is HUGE! It’s literally got over 1,700 pages.

Chemistry-

My teacher reminds me of some announcer of TV host. It is very odd. But right now we are doing stuff that I know. But that is okay because I am still taking notes and playing the games and all that. I have made a friend in the class though. I am so proud of me. The lame thing about Chem concerns the book. Okay so they have us buy a book, a clicker and something with OWL in it. All in all it costs about 166 bucks. My class just needs the book, which used costs 50 bucks. So I was really pissed off about this and tried to go at 8 on the first Friday of the year. They didn’t have it, so I was depressed and emo and felt horrible. Then I dragged Dusty back at 10 and they had 2. So I bought one and saved my ‘rents 116 bucks. The lady behind the counter did not look pleased. The lab also angers me but that is because we have done nothing thus far and … argh!

Computer Science-

I love CS so far. I can pay attention and write down command codes and apply math. I love Matlab… sorta. I just turned in my first program. I have a friend in that class. The chairs are comfy. I get to write programs. It’s nice and comfy and totally reminds me of ME last semester. And my CS lab? It is so small and dark and quiet and totally awesome. I only have it once a week but it is so nice. We have like a 5 point quiz every week and get 5 point just for showing. Plus we learn things that we also do in lecture. It is so neat! The only problem my OCD kicks in during that class and… yeah it’s bad.

Honors-

My honors class looks to be interesting. Banned books. The books we are reading are Slaughterhouse 5, Children of the Alley, Lolita, and A Clockwork Orange. I accidentally took the prosecution apart during class on Tuesday for our Socrates trial. I took their words and made them cry. It made me feel slightly guilty but not really. My group (books banned for political reasons) is leading a discussion on SH5 and I finished it on… Monday… Whoops but a good one.

Well that is all i have for today. i will try to be more... constant. but i'm me and we all know how well that works out.

That's so shocking. Although usually TAs in physics courses come from other countries...
