I am so proud of me

OMG I MADE A… A THING! I have no idea what it is other than metal and shiny. Lathes are not as scary as previously assumed… well still scary, but not scary scary just scary because I now know exactly what it does and so my fears are more grounded in reality. But I love the lathe. It is neat and awesome and I want one of my own.

I finished Wicked this morning before I went to class. I liked the last two chapters of it. I am not sure why but I think it is probably because there was some intelligence in it. Also it was less… political and more plot. I like plot. Politics are exceeeeedingly boring to me.

I also wrote my first response paper this morning. It was very exciting but didn’t take me forever to write, which is always nice and something I am always concerned about. Course it was only 2-3 pages. Our final paper in that class is 5-7 pages, which has me rejoicing as I have had to write a 14 page paper comparing Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, so I think a 5-7 page paper about New Mexico and WIPP (which is I think what I am going to write my paper on). I am tired now though and I think I am going to head to bed. Maybe attempt to figure out what to read next.
