Oh Mordred
Jan. 23rd, 2010 11:17 pmSo… today was pretty much me doing nothing!
I mean I could have done so much but I tidied my room (aka looked for my shirt and failed to do so). I also found many books, that I then scattered all over the place. My floor is also covered in yesterdays shopping experience, and random bits of fluff… I am not sure what I am supposed to be doing in there but so long as my mother ignores it today, I am going to declare it a victory.
Watched Knowing. Kinda had some predictive plot points, but other things weren’t, for example, the ENDING of all things. But the previews gave away the plane crash, which I think would have been way more awesome if I didn’t know it was coming. But I liked it, and Dad and I talked about Sci Fi books afterward, including one by… someone about the Moon suddenly lighting up at night, and a scientist realizing this meant that the sun had flared or something and they had until morning to live.
Mother and I also watched 2x03 of Merlin. I tried to convince her to watch more, but helpful father made that impossible by sleeping through half of it (even though he hasn’t even seen 1x08). I will just have to drag mother through more and more of Merlin as the weeks go by.

Quote of the day: “To reform means to shatter one form and to create another; but the two sides of this act are not always equally intended nor equally successful.” ~George Santayana
