Happy Birthday Daddy.
Oct. 8th, 2008 11:54 pmSo today is Dad's birthday. Which means i am home for the evening so i could celebrate and have meals with them and things, which is very cool because that means i get a good shower instead of a crappy one, yummy food and a good nights sleep. We had Rudy's this evening, which was very delicious. Brisket= yum. We also just watched a movie and talked and went on a walk with the dogs. Linds and i got Dad a Master and Commander guide thingy. Since those books are on my to-read list i think it will probably be useful.
today was interesting. i managed to talk to Truman twice after both thermo and Fluids. After Themo i noticed an eqn on the board resembled Bernoulli and went up to ask him about it and he said that it was Bernoulli and proceeded to show me how it became Bernoulli given certain situations. It was pretty neat! And then i talked in Fluids because after Dad's help on the PS yesterday, i got the right answers on the PS and was able to correct the rest of the class. And Truman knows my name. Got my quiz back. 23/25 because i missed 2 assumptions. Then i went and talked to him after class about how we apply correction coeff. And talked to him again. So Truman for sure knows i have at least three functioning brain cells. They just don't work in Thermodynamics.
Lab today sucked, alot. We have a huge ass freaking lab report due 10/15 and i am not pleased. Plus we have more homework due on Friday for both Thermo and Fluids. Back to lab, we watched a movie in color (finally!) though this one was way more borderline sexual than any other we have watched, which made it way awkward. but yay for color!
... So that was my day... damn i wish sometimes i had time to talk about things other than school
