Today, Dusty and I took Yuka to the mall. It was fun. We wandered and showed her American trends and I think she thinks the entirety of America is insane. We ate pretzels for lunch and Barnes and Noble was the best.
I bought many things… a ton of Harry Potter… lol
I bought a Sirius Black wall scroll, with his wanted poster on it. He looks deranged and it makes me ecstatic to have it. I also bought a Sirius Black shirt… I then bought much candy and a Harry Potter poster book. I can now plaster my walls with Harry Potter. Everyone back away. Then I bought 4 mangas, pushing me into the great realm of the 500s. I did a good job I think. I bought Nodame Cantabile, which Yuka recommended. If they had had Red River volume one, I would have bought it. She also mentioned Mushishi and how it was just released as a movie in Japan. Maybe I’ll buy that one sometime. I also bought Le Chevaleir d’Eon, which I have been tempted to buy for a while since seeing a review of the artist in Otaku USA. Then I got Godchild volume 6, which makes me giddy as we are now drastically treading into the land I know not. I downloaded scanlations of Godchild and Count Cain years ago, and never really checked up on it so now I am giggly and excited because I have no idea what is going to happen. There are only two volumes left. The next one comes out in November. I am soo excited. I have to buy Count Cain though, as well as Godchild volume 2… I like having them physically, and having all thirteen volumes would be awesome. Finally I bought the final volume of Shout Out Loud. I originally downloaded the first two volumes years ago, and wasn’t that interested, but now it is one of my favorite series.
I think I need to make some sort of list thing to work with, piles and piles and other things that I just go through every once and a while and just cross stuff out.
After all of the mall excitement, I took Dusty home and agreed to meet her tomorrow to argue with UNM. Then we went to Papa Felipe’s, and I ordered the largest burrito I have ever seen. It was far to much for a single person to consume in one sitting. And me being scrawny and pathetic, it was damn near impossible to eat half.
